Plaid & Financial Data

To connect your bank accounts, Arithmony uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. ("Plaid"). When you choose to link a financial account, you will interact directly with Plaid's interface to authenticate with your financial institution.

  • Arithmony does not receive, store, or have access to your bank username or password.
  • Plaid provides Arithmony with read-only access to your account data — we cannot initiate transfers or make changes to your accounts.
  • The data Plaid shares with us includes account balances, transaction history, account names, and institution names.
  • You may disconnect your financial accounts at any time from within the Arithmony settings. Upon disconnection, we will cease fetching new data from Plaid for that account.
  • Plaid's collection and use of your data is governed by Plaid's own Privacy Policy, available at plaid.com/legal.

By connecting a financial account through Arithmony, you authorize Arithmony to access the financial data provided by Plaid on your behalf, as described in this Privacy Policy and Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.
